Court. Community. Career.
Alley Oop Hoops, Inc. is a mentoring program dedicated to equitable education and professional development. We are committed to building a diverse talent pipeline, and bridging the 91% disparity in STEM careers.
Why the name? We connect youth to community advocates through our shared love of the game of basketball. Our mentors help student athletes reach their full potential on and off the court, with programs focused on leadership development, STEM education, entrepreneurship, career readiness, community engagement, and wellness, both physical and mental.
The organization was founded by Raleigh-native Josh Haymond in June 2020, as an approved 501(c)(3) charitable organization, EIN 85-1483359. All contributions are tax deductible. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for the contribution.
